Connecting the Parts

First, empathy is a great tool to have in the professional and business world. Empathy can lead to better customer service. When employees are able to empathize with the needs and concerns of their customers, they can provide better solutions and build stronger relationships.

In addition, empathy promotes stronger relationships and allows us to work through tough social situations. First of all, it builds a sense of trust in any relationship because anytime that you build an emotional connection with a person, you feel that you are able to trust them as you are more connected with them on an emotional level. 

I use common transitions here, I have a topic sentence for both. A topic sentence is a great start-up for a paragraph because it sets up what your going to be talking about for the rest of the paragraph. I rely on a generalized statement in each statement following the topic sentence, I’m building up what Im about to talk about and this is kind of a common thing that I tend to do. A passage that I could fix to make a little better would be in the second sentence of the second paragraph. I am repeating myself a little bit, as the first part of the sentence I talk about building an emotional connection and then in the second part of the sentence I kind of say the same thing. Instead in the second part I could say “emotional connections are the building blocks for a stronger connection.
