(Document Work MLA) – Document their work using appropriate conventions (MLA)
Entering English 110, I had a good understanding of MLA formatting and citations. I re-learned how to properly form my works cited page. The in-text citations I knew how to do. It may seem meaningless but citations are an important part of any essay as it gives the reader an idea of where you are getting your points from so they can take a look at the pieces of work that you are discussing. It also gives credit to the authors of the works that you are discussing which is always important to do. Attached is an example of an in-text citation.

In the image above I cited Danusha Laméris poem “Small Kindnesses” I learned that for poems instead of page number you put the which lines were used. Attached below is a sample works cited page:

I used to have to put it through citation machine back in high school but re-learning how to properly cited in English 110 helped me to properly formulate a works cited page on my own.
