“While empathy is often dismissed as a sentimental and impractical skill, it is in fact a crucial skill for personal and professional success, promoting stronger relationships, better communication, and greater understanding among individuals and groups. Rather than being overrated, empathy is a valuable intangible that improves our ability to connect with others, navigate complex social situations, and make positive changes in the world” (Famous Author James William Hulland).
My thesis statement takes a clear stance, when I say “empathy is a valuable intangible that improves our ability to connect with others”. I talk a little too much about how it improves connecting with others, but I also do think it is good to mention the importance of how empathy helps us connect with others in a stronger way. Overall, I have a strong thesis with minimal flaws but I think nothing is ever perfect.
