Integrate Sources: Basically how you incorporate source material into an essay and give analysis on the relevance it has to the stance your on writing on.
I have improved quite a bit with Integrating sources and explaining the quotes relevance. A great example from my writing:
“To have just a little critical awareness about myself and my certainties. Because a huge percentage of the stuff that I tend to be automatically certain of is, it turns out, totally wrong and deluded. I have learned this the hard way, as I predict you graduates will, too” (2). Wallace explains here that you are not always in the right and we should consider all options rather than assuming our way is the right way. I relate this to the business side as the most productive business leaders consider all options from their employees and do not believe that they are right one-hundred percent right of the time.
I was explaining how empathy relates to the business side of things and this quote from bloom was a perfect. Although it is not really talking about business but it is related to business in the sense of bosses or business leaders believing that they are correct a hundred percent of the time can affect how a business function in a negative way so I think having empathy and considering options of other people and knowing that people are putting in the work, makes a great leader and a better overall business.
